My Story

I grew up in the small town that I am now raising my kids in and I love it. I started Kindergarten here and graduated with  62 of mostly the same kids I started with in my class! My parent's and siblings all still live within 15 minutes of each other and I wouldn't change it for anything. My mom watches my children in the mornings while I work and my husband then picks them up from her before 11. I love that I can be a working mom and still afford my kids the privilege of being with family all day! Although Tim and I's schedules can make spending time with just each other difficult it is definitely the right choice for us right now! I am your typical small town girl, I still have the best friends I had in high school and we are raising our kids to be friends. I love to read Amish novels ( I love all books but Amish are my favorite) and I have been an avid reader since childhood, cook, cake decorate, and do cute craft projects :) I love to laugh and see humor in all situations. Finding humor in my diagnosis of PCOS may have been the most challenging but don't you worry I succeed!! I often joke that I should have been Daniel instead of DeAnna and that the side affects of PCOS make me a better boy than a girl! So I hope you come back often to see how I am learning to battle my PCOS one pesky whisker at a time!
